WELLINGTON, June 23.

Tax paid profit of Jas. J. Niven, Wellington-based engineer and merchant, lifted dividend by £16,872 to £137,995 in the year to March 31, the New, Zealand Stock Exchange has been told.

Directors recommend annual dividend of 10 per cent, against 9 per cent last year, requiring £78,000. It will be paid on August 25 and books close August 15.
