Penguin Public In Australia
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright). MELBOURNE, June 22. Penguin Books Pty., Ltd., a local subsidiary of the Penguin Publishing Company of Britain, has converted to a public company and changed its name to Penguin Books Australia, Ltd. However, the company has no intention at present of making a public share issue. The reorganisation was accompanied by the appointment of Mr R. W. Burge, of Darling and Company Ltd., Sydney, as a director.
