A Wimbledon record was broken yesterday when E..IL. Scott (United States) and N. Pilic (Jugoslavia) beat the American, C. Richey, and the Dane, T. Ulrich, 1921, 12-10, 6-4, 4-6, 9-7. This total of 98 games was the most in one match at Wimbledon.

It passed, by four games, the previous record set up in 1950 when F. Sedgman and K. McGregor lost to B. Pstty and A. Trabert. The world record was set up in Los Angeles by four Americans in 1949 when E. Schroder and R. Falkenburg beat P. Gonzales and H. Stewart over 135 games.
