Pancake-eater At Mt Cook

Miss Mary Graves, the pan-cake-eating champion from Long Beach, whose passion for pancakes won her a trip' to New Zealand, has decided to stay at Mount Cook for a few days. She arrived In Christchurch on Wednesday and snatched a few pancakes before leaving for Mount Cook, about 10 a.m. She was to have returned to Christchurch last evening.

Miss Graves and her companion, Miss Lynda Wickstrom, want to meet as many New Zealanders as possible and have decided to extend their itinerary to include Central Otago.
