Situation.—A disturbed south-westerly airstream covers New Zealand. Forecast: Canterbury, Marlborough and Nelson.—Southwesterlies, fresh at times and strong in some exposed coastal areas: cold with showers; considerable fair intervals on the plains;'some hail snow above 1500 ft. Buller and Westland.—Fresh to strong west to south-west winds; changeable and cold; some hail likely; snow to low levels. Outlook.—All districts: changeable southwesterly conditions.
