Not Prosperous As Appears
(N.Z.PA.-Reuter —Copyright) TAIPEH. Formosa may look prosperous, says the Mayor of Taipeh, Mr Henry Kao, but its tall buildings, tourist hotels, cabarets and restaurants give a false impression. On the other side of the picture, he cites: not enough jobs and no substantial increase of national income; shortage of buses, classrooms and housing projects; streets which are too narrow and too many level crossings.
