TWO HOUSES SOLD
Three flats in a house on a section of 42.9 perches at 75] Innes road, Papanui, were sold for £4250 at public auc-] tion yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr C. Blackett. The flats are returning £702 a year. The Government valuation is £3llO, and the rates are £45 a year. The opening bid was £4OOO. There was one bid of £lOO, and three of £5O. A stone bungalow, approximately five years old, at 73 Farrington avenue, Harewood, was sold for £3310. The auctioneer was Mr A. E. Barrell. The house has a living room, three bedrooms, diningroom, and kitchenette. The initial bid was £2900. There were two bids of £lOO, two of £5O, two of £25, and six of £lO. It was a mortgagee’s sale.
