Replacement For Dredge

(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, June 20. The Westminster Dredging Company has been trying to obtain a replacement dredge from England or Holland to complete the £860,000 Gisborne port development scheme, the Gisborne Harbour Board was told today by its chairman, Mr D. E. Chrisp. When the company’s dredge Foremost Prince, now undergoing an overhaul at Lyttelton, was repaired she would return to Gisborne to continue work until a replacement dredge arrived, he said.
