TOOTH AND COMPANY
Speculation Ended SYDNEY, June 20. Tooth and Company has made a statement to the Sydney Stock Exchange ending the speculation about a bonus or cash issue in the near future. The statement was made in reply to an inquiry from the Sydney Stock Exchange. Tooth's annual meeting is to be held on Wednesday! and has been proceeded by the usual run of issue speculation. The company said: “The company’s future plans and intentions are fully covered by the report accom-| paning the balance sheet in the hands of the shareholders since June 6." After the statement, the one dollar shares slumped 26 cents to 536 after opening this morning at 545. At one stage they hit 570.
Stabrook Fowldi.—Directors of Seabrook Fowlds, Auckland Austin and Rambler dealers, report increased profit and recommend a final dividend of 4) per cent, making 9 per cent for the year; payable July 19 ex dividend July 7. Last year's dividend was 9i per cent.—(P.A.)
