Tax For Development— Uganda’s new budget calls for a 5 per cent income tax. In presenting the plan to Parliament, the Finance Minister, Mr Kalule Setalla, said, “We should all willingly accept this heavy sacrifice, remembering that every penny will go towards the country’* development”
