(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. In a magnificent display of precision golf, J. G. Stern, the Palmerston North club’s scratch player, returned a recordbreaking 61 against the par of 72 on Monday. His round included 11 birdies with seven holes played in par figures. He began with birdies at the first five holes.
