Still ‘No Comment’
The Lions’ manager (Mr D. J. O’Brien) again refused to be drawn on his thoughts on rough Rugby when he held his second major press conference of the New Zealand tour. Asked for his comments on reports of rough Rugby
and the fact that “The Press” had written a leader on the matter, Mr O’Brien said that it would be ridiculous for him to complain about the Rugby at this stage of the tour. “I don’t watch rough play, I follow the ball,” said Mr O’Brien.
