’PLANE CRASH 10 Killed By Debris

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) HAMPTON, (Virginia) June 21. Two Marine jets collided over Chesapeake Bay tonight and one of them hurtling to earth like a fireball, ploughed through a row of homes and killed 10 people. Scores were injured in the crash and the raging fires it started. A gas main ruptured. Fire fighters brought the blaze under control and managed to keep it away from the leaking gas. One of the jets crashed into Chesapeake Bay. The other howled to earth in the Buckroe Beach section of Hampton. One hundred homes were damaged and 15 destroyed. The two-man crew of each of the Marine A 6 intruders parachuted safely into the bay and were rescued by helicopters.
