NEW LOCOMOTIVE IN CHRISTCHURCH.—The first of the new DI class locomotives to arrive in Christchurch. The engines, which are built by the English Electric Proprietary, Brisbane, weigh 60 tons, and develop 1012 h.p. They will be used for general purposes.
