Taranaki Br, Sales Higher
(N.Z. Preet Association) WELLINGTON, June 20. Sales of Taranaki Brewery, New Plymouth, have continued at a higher level in the six months to February 28 than for the corresponding period last year after allowing for the rise in prices from July last year, according to the interim report. Costs have increased, but have been held at a reasonable level. Net profit for the half-year shows an increase and it is expected that the profit tor the full year to August 31 will be in excess of the profits for last year. Plans tor the financing of the company’s building programme are nearly finalised and shareholders will be advised of the directors proposals in due course.
