LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
(1) Letters sent to the Editor for printing should prefer ably be typed, otherwise they must be written in Ink on one side of the paper only A legible signature and full address are re quired whether these are to be published or not. APO box number is not a sum cient address 12) Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers <3) The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing; nor can he ac Knowledge unsuitable letters although this will be done where it seems to be need ful ' or enter into any cor respondence <4) Letters must not be ot more than ISO words.
A. B. Cedarian.—Myth or not, the demands on our space would be substantial. Serf.—Such authority is conferred by several statutes; and your protest is rather late. John B. Galilagher.—We are prepared to consider letters on the general question of security; correspondence specifically on Auckland University is closed. Disgusted.—You do not make the circumstances of the incident at all clear. In any case, if you have the offender's number and are sure the incident was seen by a traffic inspector you should seek an interview with the traffic superintendent. Frustrated Supporter. The New Zealand Press Association advised that the arrangements with a special correspondent had apparently broken down and efforts to obtain a report from some other source were made without success.
