PRODUCER BOARDS
Nominations Close (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 19. Only two nominations, those of sitting members, have been received for the seats on the New Zealand Wool Board for which elec-
tions will be due in August. The nominees are Mr L. P. Chapman, of Mid-Canterbury, who has been a member of the board since 1960, and Mr A. W. Moore, of Hamilton, a member since 1961. Eight nominations were received for two vacancies as producer representatives on the Meat Board. They are: Messrs H. M. Linklater (Palmerston North), C. N. Mackenzie (Christchurch), R. J. McLean (Invercargill), T. G. McNab (Balclutha), J. P. McNeil (Shannon), J. E. Downes Roberts (Middlemarch), T. A. Thompson (Middlemarch), A. C. Wright (Dunsandel). :Mr Thompson is a sitting member. The other member to retire by rotation, Sir John Andrew, of Hyde, did not seek re-election. The election will be held at the annual meeting of the electoral committee of the board on August 25.
