Clubs Stolen

(N.Z. Pres* Association) DANNEVIRKE, June 19. A leading New Zealand golfer, S. Jones, of Hastings, had a full set of clubs stolen from his car in Dannevirke on Saturday night. Among the clubs was a set of irons brought from the United States by Jones’s brother on Friday. “I had only played two rounds with them,” the golfer said tonight. The equipment was valued at almost £l7O. It included his favourite putter, which has won him at least one New Zealand amateur title.
