. . Out 6 Weeks
M. J. Dick, the former All Black and a leading candidate for the tests against the Lions, will soon enter hospital for a cartilage operation on his right knee. He should be fit to play six weeks afterwards.
Dick will miss the first test, at Dunedin on July 16, and almost certainly will not be available for the Lions-Auckland match on July 30.—(P.A.)
