Half-Back Changes Canterbury will field a new under-18 half-back line against Nelson in the first round of the Junior National Cup at English Park next Saturday. Of the three who played against Wellington in the first round of the Oaten Cup at Queen’s Birthday week-end, D. Almond (Western) and C. Pickrill (Christchurch 8.H.5.) are not available. Obstructed Footpath.—-John Milton Smith Oakley, aired 17, a packer, was fined £lO by Messrs J. R. Smith and G. W. Fairweather, Justices of the Peace, in the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday on a charge of obstructing the footpath. He pleaded guilty.
