Brighton Nets Eight Goals

New Brighton refused to allow its Chatham Cup defeat to upset its main purpose, promotion to the first division, when it outplayed Riccarton, 8-0, in the second division soccer competition on Saturday. Bruce and R. MacPherson. In a Junior National Cup tie at Auckland,' Waikato was heavily beaten by Auckland, 10-1.
