THREE DOGS FOUND

Three valuable sheep dogs, which escaped from the boot of a car involved in an accident on Friday, were found on Saturday and placed in the care of a friend of the owner. The dogs are owned by Mr H. Herbert, of Pongaroa, who had entered them in the national dog trials. Mr Herbert was driving back to his hotel in Christchurch when his car collided with another car in Halswell Junction road. Mr Herbert was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital.
