RECRUITING TEACHERS

Campaign To Begin Today (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 19. A six-week campaign to recruit primary and secondary school teachers will begin tomorrow. The Department of Education wants to attract to the teaching profession school leavers and university students who have not yet chosen a career. It also offers opportunities for adults who are university graduates or have other suitable academic or technical qualifications to enter special secondary training or refresher courses.
