Play-offs To Determine Templeton Cup Finalists

Two Kaiapoi teams will play off to decide the team to represent the Southern zone in the final of the Templeton Cup golf series. The competition is conducted by the North Canterbury InterClub Golf Match Committee for clubs north of the Waimakariri river. Kaiapoi B has won the A section of the zonal competition and Kaiapoi A the B section. The team to represent the Northern zone in the final will be decided by a play-off between Hawarden, winner of the zonal A section and Kaikoura the winner of the B section.

Final points in the sectional competitions, computed on the total of the individual games won and lost, are:—
