SIX INJURED ON ROADS

Three Kept In Hospital Two men were injured in a collision between two cars in Halswell Junction road near McTeigues road about 5.20 p.m. yesterday. Mr H. Kershaw, of 61 Dunbars road, suffered fairly serious head, face and leg injuries, and Mr H.,Heroert, of Pongaroa, suffered fairly serious head and leg injuries. Both were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Their condition last evening was satisfactory. Mr L. J. Turnbull, of 3 Betty place, suffered fairly serious head and leg injuries when he rode into the back of a car outside 143 Hereford street about 4.40 p.m. yesterday. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, his condition later being satisfactory.

Mr N. Loveday, of 53 Leaver terrace, suffered facial lacerations in a collision between a motor-cycle and a car on the Moorhouse avenue flyover about 4.40 p.m. Mrs A. Waddell, of 8 Keller street, suffered shock in a collision between two cars at the corner of Tuam and Manchester streets about 2.45 p.m. Mr A. Brady, of 16 Retreat road, suffered head and leg injuries in a collision between a bicycle and car at the corner of Swanns and Stanmore roads about 5.25 p.m. Mrs Waddell and Messrs Loveday and Brady were treated at the Christchurch Hospital and discharged.
