Abolition Of Group tN.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) LONDON, June 17. N.A.T.O.’s top military policy-making body, the Standing Group, will be abolished on July 1 because of France’s decision to pull out of N.A.T.O.’s integrated defence structure, said officials yesterday.
The work of this AngloFrench - American group, which met in Washington, will be taken over by the Atlantic alliance’s top milit;.rv strategy body, the 15nation Military Committee, which also meets in Washington.
