“Carnage”

Sir, —Of all the subjects at present under discussion in this column, this one is surely the most ridiculous. People have taken it upon themselves to read far too much into the practising of a harmless (if somewhat “sick”) game. We will probably spend most of our lives conforming with the norm, and, while we are young, there is not much harm in displaying a few extrovert tendencies. Get the world’s problems off your mind for a minute and have some fun.—Yours, etc., A. June 17, 1966.
