Life Members Of Garden Club
Life membership was conferred on two foundation members, Mis A. R. Blank and Mrs C. E, Evans, at the annual meeting of the Fendalton Garden Club. Posy bowls were presented to the club’s patron (Mrs Blank) and to the judges. Mesdames W. L. Partridge, E. W. Archbold, G. H. Royds, R. W. Jack and S. E. Clarkson. Prizes and trophies:— Shrubs.—Mrs A. R. Blank’s bowl, Miss I. M. Henderson, Mrs G. V. Hudson’s trophy, Mrs L. Mitchell and Mrs E. Undrill. Cut flowers.—Crozier: Mrs L Mitchell 1, Miss E. Undrill and Miss I. M. Henderson 2. Penfold vase: Mrs L. Christmas and Mrs P. N. G. Blaxall 1, Mrs L. W. Lee 2. Decorative. Winterbourne cup: Mrs L. Mitchell. Mrs Lamb’s prize: Mrs D. H. August Penfold Cup: Mrs L. Christinas 1, Mrs S. Goulden and Mrs F. J. Bennett. Mrs Partridre’s Trophy: Mesdames I. Fyfe, A. O. Wilkinson and I. Milner.
Mrs Roysmith’s Cup for most points: Mrs L. Mitchell. Mrs Evan’s Salver: Miss L M. Hendqjson.
