Otago Gets Badminton
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Otago has been awarded the Thomas Cup men's badminton match between Japan and New Zealand on August 26 and 27. The secretary of the New Zealand Badminton Federation (Mr G. F. Vincent) said yesterday that there were three applicants—Hawke’s Bay, Otago and Auckland. The Japanese team will play in the New Zealand championships at Rotorua from August 30-Septem-ber 3.
