SHEEP FOR KOREA
Shipment By C.OJR.S.O. (N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON, June 16. The first consignment of 1500 Romney sheep for the Korean island of Cheju will leave Napier on July 5. The shipment is the result of an undertaking last year by the Wairarapa branch of C.0.R.5.0, to finance a sheep industry at Cheju. Last year the Wairarapa appeal raised £7375 towards the cost, and the additional finance is expected to be given this year. The first shipment will consist of 400 ewe hoggets and 14 rams.
