POSSESSION TOMORROW
Union Co’s New Ferry (From the London correspondent of "The Press”) LONDON, June 12. Union Steam Ship Company representatives hope to take delivery of the passenger-car ferry Wahine next Tuesday at Clydeside. She may sail to New Zealand on Wednesday or Thursday. The ferry underwent further trials during the week-end. The company has tried to get a high proportion of New Zealand seamen in the crew, which will assemble on Tuesday. Because the Aranui is registered in New Zealand the company hopes the British seamen’s strike will not delay the sailing.
