Taxi Licences
Sir,—l find the scramble for the taxi licences recently granted by the authority nauseating. The £1750 that these licences are worth belongs to the people of Christchurch. All successful applicants should be forced to pay the value of the licence to the Christchurch City Council.—Yours. etc., G. V. THOMAS. June 11, 1966.
