Eyreton And Student Double Prospects

(From Our Own Reporter) NELSON. Eyreton and Student, place-getters on the first day of the meeting, could form the winning combination for the T.A.B. double races at the Nelson Trotting Club's meeting tomorrow.

Eyreton will contest the Craddock Handicap. Student is in the second leg, the Motueka Handicap.

Richard Hanover and Ulight are expected to offer Eyreton most opposition. There will be support for Chaman, Stormy Scott, Vantage, Snow Chief and Tahu. The hardest for Student to beat probably will be White Smoke and Dawn Peterson, the latter being a newcomer to this class.

The on-course double will be run on the Canvastown and Murchison Handicaps. Echo Tryax and Propetre form a likely pair. Weather prospects are favourable, but the track will still be heavy on the home bend.
