Squadron Dinner
The 50th anniversary of New Zealand's famed wartime bomber squadron, No. 75 Squadron, was celebrated at dinner held on Saturday night Formed in 1916 as a home defence unit of Britain’s Royal Flying Corps, the squadron began its association with New Zealand in the early days of the last war. It remained in Britain throughout the war and decorations totalled 175, including a Victoria Cross.— (PA.).
