MEETING TODAY

Trade Talks In London

(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter— Copyright) LONDON, June 12. Trade Ministers from 22 Commonwealth nations meet in London tomorrow to plan new ways for boosting Commonwealth trade and protecting existing world markets. One of the major issues confronting the Ministers will be the problem of getting stabilised, equitable prices for basic exports on which many of the developing Commonwealth countries largely depend to raise their living standards. The British-led trade sanctions against Rhodesia were not listed on the proposed agenda for the talks, expected to finish on Thursday. Commonwealth officials said that some delegates might refer to the Rhodesian situation in relation to its effects on their own economies.
