Two Years For E.E.C.

The Common Market would not be able to negotiate Britain’s entry for another two years, the Conservative Party leader, Mr Edward Heath, said in London yesterday, on his return from four days of talks on the Common Market with the Swedish Government. Mr Heath said that in this period while the Common Market was aligning its own economic policies, Britain could gradually change her present agricultural system of supporting farmers, to a system of levies on pro, ducts coming into the country.
