INSIDE Mr E. C. Storer’s feeding barn at Kaiapoi, with 30 stalls on each side of the centre race. On both sides of the barn can be seen the tubular steel units for keeping the cows in their stalls. When the cows are shedded for the night, these are simply swung down into position.
