LYTTELTON SEAT
National Party Candidate Mr I. G. B. Wilson is expected to be confirmed by the Dominion headquarters of the National Party as candidate for the Lyttelton seat in the General Election. He was National candidate for Riccarton at the last election. The Lyttelton seat is held by the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk). It is understood that the other two nominees considered by the Lyttelton electorate committee of the National Party were Mr T. J. Holderness, chairman of the Lincoln College Board, and Mr P. De Lautour, chairman of the Akaroa County Council.
