Applicants should have a degree in Civil Engineering of a recognised University, teaching experience at a University, or have held a responsible position in a branch of Civil Engineering. Salary attached to the position is £l3OO to £2500 per annum subject to a bar at £2OOO per annum, but these salaries are currently under review. Commencing salary is in accordance with qualifications and experience, with annual increments normally of £lOO. (The designation “Senior Lecturer” is used to denote members of staff who are at present above the £2OOO bar.) Approved fares to Christchurch will be paid.
