MACKAY CITY COUNCIL CIVIL ENGINEERING DRAFTSMEN Applications are invited for two positions which exist for Civil Engineering Draftsmen on the Council’s Technical Staff QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should hold an appropriate Cer tificate in Drafting from a recognised Institute of Technology or Technical College or its equivalent and have had at least eight years’ experience in the design of Municipal works such as roads, sewers, water reticulation, reinforced con crete structures and the like SALARY AND CONDITIONS. Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Municipal Officers’ (Queensland) Award. Salary at present payable is in the range $2956 to $3BlB per annum, with commencing salary to be determined, according to qualifications and experience. The Council is prepared to reimburse actual removal expenses up to a maximum of 10 per cent of the first year’s salary upon completion of two years’ service, whilst the benefits of the Local Government Superannuation Scheme will be made available after a qualifying period.
