BEATEN BY PACE

W. Indians Out For 151

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter — Copyright) BRISTOL.

The Gloucestershire fast bowler, A. Windows, played havoc with the West Indies batsmen yesterday, capturing eight wickets for 79 runs. Making full use of the humid atmosphere, Windows swung the ball disconcertingly, taking three of the first four wickets to fall, for a cost of seven runs. He wavered in direction and was punished by C. C. Hunte, but after the interval, aided by a strong cross breeze, Windows took another four wickets, including that of Hunte.
