Mufti Patrols In N.S.W.
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, June 10. Plain-clothes police in New South Wales will use small, unmarked cars capable of more than 100 m.p.h. in a new campaign to reduce the road toll.
■Six of the cars will patrol the Hume highway, a major scene of accidents, between Sydney and Goulburn during the coming Queen’s Birthday holiday week-end. More will be introduced on major country highways later.
