The dairy produce section of Federated Fanners today resolved that It was adamant that dairy farmers accept a price not less than the present basic butterfat price for the 1966-67 season. The resolution recognised that the conference was conscious of a deterioration in the farmers’ over-ell position. It was passed by a voice vote after an amendment seeking an increase in the price by the full amount permissible under the Act had been lost by 18 votes to 14.
