UNDER-23 TRIALS
N.I. Soccer Teams
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON.
The Rest of the North Island under-23 soccer team to play the Auckland under--23 side at Auckland on June 19, was announced yesterday. Mr J. G. Shankie, who selected the Rest team with the national coach, Mr L. Brocdc, said the game was a trial for the pending tour by a Hong Kong side and the Australian under-23 team. The teams are:—
Rest of North Island: J. Harlock; R. Little (Waikato), G. Lake (Auckland); J. Young (WeKtagton), D. Jones (Auckland), D. GendaM (WeMngton); G. Weils (Auckland), E. Thomas (Waikato), B. Baker (Wellington), M. Burgess, A. Leutschke (Auckland). Reserves: A. Eckman (Auckland), M. Jones, M. Johnston (Wellington). Auckland: N. Siebert; C. Latimour, T. Hempieman; p. Rainer, W. Hunter, R. Barber; L. Thompson, I. Ormond, M, Guildea, G, Lamont. J. Legg.
