Mens Fashion Show
A man’s car coat in pony skin, neck ties designed by Pierre Cardin. Op-Art shirts, and a sweater in luxurious vicuna will be among garments seen at the fourth International Men’s and Boy’s Wear Exhibition, Earls Court, London.
The exhibition has become a popular rendezvous for manufacturers and buyers from many parts of the world, and this year’s event is no exception. A party of 70 buyers from the .Netherlands is to fly over to London especially for the event.
Many of the exhibitors are extending their ranges specifically to cater for teenagers, and the fashions displayed for this market will be many and varied.
Considerable interests will be aroused in new ranges of knitwear which are all machine washable; leisurewear styles for sportsmen in intricate cable styles and inlaid intarsia patterns produced on handknitting machines; and lightweight waistcoats in checks and tartans with
self linings and self backs, which make them ideal for those days when just a shirt is too cotfl but a jacket is too warm.
