The all-foods index for May was 1017, compared with 1021 j for April. ; The fruit and vegetables j sub-group made a downward 'contribution of four points. [There was no change in the [other food sub-group. Larger downward contributions to this movement were made by the seasonal fruit and vegetables (four points) and sheep meat items (one ‘ and a half points). An upward contribution was made by ham and bacon (one point).
