Mr and Mrs D. J. Mclntosh, of Waiau, whose diamond wedding anniversary occurred on Tuesday, farmed In the Amuri for 43 years. When Mr Mclntosh bought a 450-acre block at Rotherham in 1913 his family, which in-
eluded two children of school age, lived in two tents for three months while their home was built When the Mclntoshes, who had four children, retired to Waiau in 1956, the property was taken over by a son, Mr N. E. E. Mclntosh.
