NEW Y.F.C. HEAD
A Canterbury man, Mr R. M. Sinclair, who is a member of the Morven Young Farmers' Club, was elected president of the New Zealand Federation of Young Fanners’ Clubs at the annual meeting of the federation in Christchurch -last evening. Other officers were appointed as follows: Grand patron, Mr L. W. McCaskill; patrons, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake), the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Talbovs), Messrs A. Grant, K. A. Bennett. H. WoodyearSmith, E. Rabbidge and D. G McLachlan; vice-president. Mr P. H. McNeill; and treasurer, Mr J. F. Holmes. About 180 attended the meeting which was opened by the Mayor (Mr G. Manning).
