No Quorum Of Creditors

Because there was no quorum, a meeting of the creditors of Kenneth George Thomas, a driver, of 544 Barbadoes street, was adjourned sine die.

Thomas, who was adjudged bankrupt on May 27, disclosed total debts of £839 4s 4d, with assets of £8 16s 3d, leaving a deficiency of £B3O 8s Id, said the Official Assignee (Mr T. A. F. Withers). Mr Withers said that Thomas’s reasons for bankruptcy were that he had been in business for about one year, but with increased opposition it had become extremely difficult to get a sufficient turn-over to cover his fixed costs. He had had to get help in his shop, which added to his financial difficulties.
