ADVISED TO WAIT

Motor-Cycle Registration

Motor-cycle racing competitors have been advised to postpone re-registering their machines.

The publicity officer for the New Zealand Auto-Cycle Union (Mr J. A. Fraser) said that under the Post Office motor registration branch’s new classification system, motor-cycles used solely for racing might be eligible for a considerable reduction in registration fees. The national executive was consulting the Post Office and the union’s solicitors, he said. The decision would probably be known after the executive’s meeting at Hamilton on June 18 and he urged competitors to wait until then.
